What protection performance should the LG DA-48A18 power ac Adapter have?

First: Short Circuit Protection (SCP)

The charger power supply must be able to withstand continuous shorting of the output without damage. When the fault disappears, the adapter must be able to recover from protected mode and re-offer rated power.

Second: Overvoltage protection (OVP)

When a loop is broken, such as when the optocoupler is damaged or the TL431 voltage divider network is affected, the power adapter must stop working immediately until the user restarts the adapter and start working again.

Third: Over Temperature Protection (OTP)

If the temperature of the power adapter exceeds a certain temperature, the adapter is at risk of damage. To avoid this, a thermal sensor is required to continuously monitor the temperature, and the adapter is continuously turned off if the temperature exceeds the limit set by the designer.
